Shared Summits Mission

Shared Summits goal is to encourage kids to slay dragons, cure diseases, fight poverty, or reach for the stars. Everest, though a cold and brutal place, graciously serves as a fitting metaphor for making any dream come true.

Earth Treks' Shared Summits Program facilitates the intellectual and emotional development of school-age children by introducing them to the captivating pursuit of mountaineering. Through the use of state-of-the-art digital technology, students become virtual participants in mountain climbing expeditions to the highest and most brilliant landscapes in the world. These meaningful and unique educational experiences will not only expose students to the cultures, geography, and lore which surround the greatest peaks on Earth, but will allow them to gain a true appreciation for the value of teamwork, trust, perseverance, and goal achievement.
